Gjirofarma's HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) System for food quality and safety has been evaluated and approved from Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Limited in 2007.

The certification proves that Gjirofarma Sh.A. is following the highest European and International Standards in all production steps from the farmer to the consumer.

During his last visit in the region of Gjirokaster, at 7 of July 2006, the Albanian Minister of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Protection, Mr. Jemin Gjana had visited the GJIROFARM factory.

Mr. Gjana highlighted our industry as the reference point and the best practice example for a modern Albanian Food Industry according to the European Standards.

Gjirofarma sponsors Miss Globe International

The 2006 Miss Globe International took place in the antique town of Butrint in southern Albanian on Oct. 1, with the crowning of a new beauty queen. For this year the program was rich with trips and visits to the beautiful places on the South Albania, tourist, historic and never seen beaches.

Gjirofarma Sh.A. was a sponsor of the beauty contest and the 40 girls from across the world visited our facilities.
